Mike Hernandez III made money in Dallas selling and leasing cars. Whoop-dee-do!! Now, he's become an expert on what it takes to bring Brownsville out of poverty.
His organization, with the cryptic name, OP 10.33, through his spokesperson, Roger Lee, published platitudes about their approach to mentoring Brownsville.
The eager, but ignorant, Hernandez, wasted $140,000 backing losing candidates for positions as Texas Southmost College and Port of Brownsville trustees. He did send money to Trey Mendez, who was going to win anyway, in his TSC race.
The scorecard? 0 for 6. An amateur, unskilled, without knowledge of the local situation.
Dumbass Hernandez III is not done. He has more money to waste.
He is currently suing local blogger Jerry McHale for hurting his feelings and has engaged a wannabe blogger, originally from Kyle, TX, but now living with relatives in McAllen, to promote his interests.
Good luck, Mike! You know what you're doing. After all, you sold all those cars!
