While real President Biden kicked ass in his State of the Union speech last night. his 2024 opponent met with Putin buddy, Hungarian dictator Victor Orban today, reportedly to "discuss Ukraine."

Trump’s fondness for Orban and the opposition of MAGA Republicans to helping Ukraine are tributaries of the same river in which MAGA cultists  increasingly fall in love with dictators.

Orban has become a role model for MAGA with his  “illiberal democracy,” including restrictions on immigration and LGBTQ+ rights. 

Trump's friend Orban has also stifled the press and the courts in his country while keeping the closest relationship with Russia among all European Union countries.

In his visit to the United States, Orban skipped the White House and instead spoke at a conservative think tank overseeing the 2025 Project, the effort to create an agenda for Trump’s next term.

“Supporting families, fighting illegal migration and standing up for the sovereignty of our nations. This is the common ground for cooperation between the conservative forces of Europe and the U.S.,” Orban wrote on X, formerly Twitter, after his appearance at the conservative think tank.
