  15. What is funny about Rey passing away? Your sic Anonymous! By the way, I have been an appraiser since 1997 and that is what I do for a living, but you know that.. Now, the good thing is you can post all your hate and attacks and you can pretend to be something you are not, but you are only entitled to one vote. So, you can vote for Tony Martinez..

  16. By the way, things happen for a reason.. And, I believe in destiny. If it is meant to be it will be, if not, then it will not be. I have never sought the title or the power, but when people have first hand knowledge and compare to what was and what is and ask me to run, then it makes one think. Too early to tell, but I will consult with my family and friends and think about it. Many are disillusioned by the unkept promises and lack of representation on the commission.

  19. Who was the worst mayor before Pat Ahumada? Pat Ahumada during his first term. Even then, if it came between him and Martinez I'd prefer Pat. Not sure if I'd be stumbling over the same stone though.

  20. Mr. Ahumada Ignore the ignorant.. don't waste your energy... you will have my vote.. I will Definitely Not Vote for our Mayor nor Robert Sanchez....

  21. Case in point of Ahumada speaking just for the sake of speaking. He claims he is informed before commenting on something, well Rey Guevara lives dumbass. You spew your RUBISH and people that are close to Rey go and pay condolences....because an idiot writes that he is dead on the internet. I hope you read that one of your loved ones has passed on the internet and it is not true, see how you feel...idiot!

    3. Cris is the one being paid by taxpayers and he is on the blogs on county time. ...that is the big difference!

  22. I qualified the report on Rey's passing, but I guess you cannot read Anonymous 4:41 that I was not sure. I did read in a post that he had passed away, but was not sure if it was a hoax or not. Thank you for confirming my friend is still alive and doing well. Now, learn to read..And to those who have asked and encouraged me to run for mayor, which are many thank you. I will give it very much thought and consult with others, including my family. My son is also urging me to run and I will continue to listen to people who want to retake city government from special interest. I love and care about Brownsville. I think a lot of people know this, excluding the Chris Valadez's and those who tried to criminalize me, but failed. Many people tell me they realize this now and have asked me to give it serious thought to run again. If it is meant to be it will be and the good Lord will guide me as always. Thank you..

  24. Spiritually, Rey Guevara is dead. Maybe that's what was meant here.

  25. Rey is a fishing guide and he's tanned, alive and well, heading out with his tocayo, Chinoski, to San Martin Lake to catch snook on the rising tide this afternoon. I'll tell him about his premature death; he'll get a chuckle that anyone gives a shit. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S881KCm71no

  26. Be sure to give Rey my very best. I always thought him to be very intelligent, a good person and a friend. Gld to hear he is doing great.
    Thanks,

  31. Anonymous 10:19 pm, I am certainly considering the option to run and if I do, I hope we can build alliances and unite our city to take government back from special interests. I was always transparent and even with those in disagreement, I would support if it were for the betterment of our city. The city was always and will always be the agenda. Thank you for your support and kind words.

    1. Pat, you're first action on the commission should be to dissolve The City of Brownsville and create a Reservation-styled community. There are too many "Indians" in this damned town! Jim Barton would be the Medicine Man. LOL!!!!

      Delete
  32. LOL! You really made me laugh! And, yes too many indians who are petty and jealous, which is what divides us and makes us prey to those with special interest. Enjoy your day!

    1. Pat, you can be the fearless leader at our reservation. We could appoint you Chief of the tribe and name you.... Chief Culero Sin Verguensa, Chief Siempre Mamado or Chief Drunken Driver....

  33. LOL! Yeah, go vote for Tony... Indian Chris...

  34. O.K. So far I've heard of Pat. William, and Tony running. When are we going to get someone with the leadership ability of a " Bobby el Loco " or Conrado Cantu back in Action. Hell, Abel Limas would run circles around these clowns.

  35. Why don't you run, since you admire those you mentioned.
