CARLOS CASCOS CLARIFIES POSITION ON JANUARY 6 VIOLENCE AT CAPITOL AND 2020 ELECTION

Carlos Cascos

In yesterday's Brownsville Observer we cited Bobby Wightman's observation that likely Cameron County Judge Candidate Carlos Cascos suggested "moving on" from the January 6 insurrection AND the 2020 election.

This morning, in a comment to this blog, Cascos clarifies his position.

Cascos, in the comment posted below, does favor "moving on" from what he refers to as "unproductive attempts to undermine the official 2020 Presidential election results."

He does not feel the same way about the "travesty & violence" of January 6.

I have not implied or stated moving on from the January 6th travesty & violence that occurred in our national capital. My moving on comment was in response to the unproductive attempts to undermine the official 2020 Presidential election results.
