Commissioner Longoria

Longoria restated at the Republican Club Forum his apology for the city's period of bad service which he said was due to the period between City Manager Charlie Cabler's tenure and the December 2018 hiring of new City Manager Noel Bernal.

As he stated at the Realtors Forum, Longoria said simply: "I'm sorry."

"I've worked with 4 mayors, 3 city managers and 3 police chiefs," Longoria stated, reminding the audience of 16 years experience as a city commissioner.

Longoria also cited his role in mentoring new commissioners.
