Diego Amir Paz

The Brownsville Police Department has reported on their website the arrest of a 28 year old man for theft.

Diego Amir Paz has been allegedly promising jobs at the Port of Brownsville for a fee of $200, scamming a reported 33 victims.

It's a heinous, cruel crime, if convicted, preying on folks in need of employment to bilk them of money they desperately need for food, shelter and necessities.

  1. Jim Barton, when you were young you worked very hard to earn a living. That is why you understand the issues of people that are trying to find a job. They wanted a job and they thought this guy was going to help them get into the Port of Brownsville. The Port of Brownsville has a webpage with job postings. Maybe not all the jobs are posted there, and that is how this guy took advantage of the people. So sad.
