NBA commentators have coined the word gravity to denote how much attention a player attracts from the defense similar to the way our sun holds eight planets in its orbit(formerly nine).  

Notice in the photo above that five New York Knicks are pulled in by the gravity of Luka Doncic(77) while four Mavericks wait outside the 3-point line for a pass. 

Last week Doncic scored 73 points in a game but there was little mention of it among the talking heads.  Racist Stephen A. Smith called the 73 point outing "disgraceful" while bemoaning the NBA's lack of defense.
