From the editor: El Jardin Hotel has always been a mystical place for me. Like many of you, I've fallen for every plan for revitalization, whether from a bow-legged rich man or local housing entities.
A very close friend of mine, two decades my senior, served as a bellman at the old hotel until its demise.
So, with a heavy heart, I took these photos in 2016. Did I walk past "No Trespassing" signs?
Who the Hell remembers everything they did 7 years ago?
