Reynosa Reporter Carolina Garza reports that early Thursday morning federal forces captured the leader of Tamaulipas border operations for the Gulf Cartel.

Roque Cruz Fuentes, AKA El M58, an extremely fat man, was detained, along with 8 associates, in El Olmito neighborhood of Reynosa.

Citizens observed three helicopters hovering the area while federal forces were making the arrests.

An armored bus took the suspects to the Federal Prosecutor's Office in Reynosa.
