JUSTICE DEPARTMENT 89 PAGE REPORT SHOWS MINNEAPOLIS POLICE DEPARTMENT "RACIST," "OUT OF CONTROL"

An 89 page report just released by the U.S. Department of Justice reveals huge problems in the Minneapolis Police Department.

The review, prompted by the murder of George Floyd by Minneapolis cop Derek Chauvin, found that Minneapolis police "routinely" discriminated against Black and Native American people, using "deadly force without justification," "trampling on the First Amendment rights of protesters and journalists."

Officers, the report said, "beat, shot and detained unjustly," and "fired weapons without first assessing the threat on pedestrians and drivers who'd committed minor offenses or no offenses at all."

The report reveals "dysfunctional law enforcement, illegal conduct and tolerance of racism" in the department.
