Just as we did last May, Ana and I visited the quaint and historic Pella, Iowa for the Tulip Time Festival, a celebration Dutch culture and cuisine with tulips in many colors the star of the show.
Pella was settled in 1847 by 800 Dutch immigrants desirous of practicing their religion and cultures unhindered.
Vermeer Mill, a local landmark, is an actual working mill, grinding wheat into flour with wind power.
