REFUGE TRASH BASH CLEANUP AT SPI'S #6 BEACH ACCESS
Today's cleanup on SPI, hosted by Costa Cleanups, the Laguna Atascosa National Wildlife Refuge and the RGV Fishing Area and Waterway Cleanup, the REFUGE TRASH BASH, recovered several thousand pounds of litter, plastic and refuse starting at Beach Access #6 proceeding at least three miles north.
Over two hundred folk participated in the six hour cleanup event.
On March 7 an RGV Fishing Area and Waterways Cleanup at the Jaime Zapata Boat Ramp and Brownsville Ship Canal is scheduled along Highway 48.
