PROPOSED COUNTY RAISES, UNIONS AND TRAINING AT THE PORT ON TAP AT "WHINE WITH CHEEZ" PODCAST NEXT TWO SUNDAYS

Few are more knowledgeable about the operations inside Cameron County than Chris Valadez, former administrative assistant to County Judge Carlos Cascos.

 The multi-dimensional Valadez has committed to appear on this week's Whine with Cheez podcast to be live streamed from Angelita's Casa de Café Sunday at 1:30 PM.



Hector Cascos
Appearing alongside Valadez will be local businessman Hector Cascos, the brother of the former County Judge.  Cascos has been an outspoken opponent of the proposed raises for county officials that appears on the agenda for the August 20 meeting of the Cameron County Commissioners Court.



Jason Medina
The following Sunday, the podcast will feature Jason Medina, a journeyman pipefitter and labor organizer with the Pipe Fitters Local Union 211-Houston, to discuss labor issues and training possibilities at the Port of Brownsville and Amfels Inc.  Mr. Medina will be accompanied, if the work schedule permits, by an Amfels employee to give insight on the work done at the plant.

      Don't think so Mr. No Car, No Bus Fare. Valadez was working for a Mexican petroleum outfit last I heard. What are you doing besides sitting in front of a laptop all day spamming all the Brownsville blogs?

    Isn't Valadez working as a meter reader with PUB? I think he's in charge of auditing the electric meters and catch anyone that's stealing electricity from PUB. A true expert.
