Donald Trump is a small-minded, petty man, quick to use his the Office of the President to punish or to accomplish "retribution" as he's called it.  Please don't forget Trump called for head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mark Milley, to be brought before a military tribunal, charged with treason and executed.  Trump is that small of a man and dangerous.

Trump has also waged war against the national press, calling it the "enemy of the people," one of Adolf Hitler's favorite phrases.

A free and independent press is key to a functioning, healthy democracy. In the absence of censorship, journalism exists as a watchdog of private and government action, providing information to maintain an informed citizenry of voters.

Rather than an independent, free press, Trump prefers the old Soviet style, where the president controls the dissemination of news using instruments like Pravda, the worldwide Communist newspaper.

This past Tuesday, the Trump administration blocked an Associated Press reporter from attending a press event due to the news organization's use of the name "Gulf of Mexico," an obvious violation of the Constitution's First Amendment. 

"It is alarming that the Trump administration would punish AP for its independent journalism. Limiting our access to the Oval Office based on the content of AP's speech not only severely impedes the public's access to independent news, it plainly violates the First Amendment," stated AP Executive Editor Julie Pace.

When asked Wednesday which White House official made the decision to bar the AP reporter, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said, "It's a privilege to cover this White House." 

Anyway, Trump wants us all to keep up with semantical changes he's made by executive order.

Trump-speak may soon become the national language, required for citizenship, so we all need to get on board and learn the meaning of "covfefe," a word Trump invented in his first term.

Of course, learning to speak like Trump is a large task, I mean a "bigly" one.  Will those Trump refers to as "the gays," "the Blacks" or "the Hispanics" be up to learning the new national lingo?
