I'm back! If you haven't heard already, I made the decision to run for the At Large B position. It will allow me to advocate for the entire city and work on projects that have a broader impact.

Just like I did before, I vow to listen to and address my constituents' concerns, work with city staff to resolve problems, and improve city services. I hope I can count on your support.

For those who don't know me or know very little about me, let me reintroduce myself. I was born and raised in Brownsville. Attended Stanford University for college, went to law school at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, and have my MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.

I moved back to Brownsville in November of 2012 and have held various positions in public service since then. Most recently, I was the District 1 City Commissioner from 2019 to 2023.

In the next few months, I will be knocking on doors, putting up campaign signs and talking with anyone I can to learn more about your concerns. Together, we will come up with solutions to make our city better.

Estoy de regreso! Decidí postularme para la posición que me permitirá abogar por toda la ciudad y trabajar en proyectos que tienen mayor impacto (Commissioner at Large B). Como lo hice anteriormente, les prometo la atención que se merecen.

Para los que no me conocen bien, les comparto un poquito de mi. Nací y me crié en Brownsville. Estudié en la universidad de Stanford en California. He ejercido como abogada desde el año 2000. Y también tengo maestría de administración de empresas de la Universidad de Texas en Austin.

Regresé a Brownsville en noviembre del 2012 y desde ese entonces he tenido varias posiciones al servicio público. Últimamente, fui comisionada del distrito 1 aquí en Brownsville del 2019 al 2023.

En los próximos meses, tocaré puertas, pondré anuncios de mi campaña y hablaré con personas para oir de sus quejas y sugerencias. Juntos, podemos resolver los problemas para mejorar nuestra ciudad.
