From the editor: The Trump administration is moving swiftly to carry out Trump's threat of a massive deportation of immigrants with Acting Department of Homeland Security Secretary Benjamine Huffman issuing a directive that gives several government departments the authority to apprehend undocumented immigrants.
The Department of Justice, U.S. Marshals, the DEA, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the Federal Bureau of Prisons now have the authority to investigate and apprehend immigrants without documentation.
