Kashyap P. Patel

Please don't assume I'd ever refer to Trump's proposed nominee to head the Federal Bureau of Investigation as "batshit crazy."

Anyway, my quick Google of the effects of bat excrement on humans, showed that it was fungal disease, not mental illness, that was spread by airborne spores of bat poop, pulmonary histoplasmosis, being the medical term.

The so-called mainstream media seems divided on Patel's qualifications, with the Washington Post saying he's "dangerous and unqualified, while Fox News refers to Patel as an "advocate for truth."

Former Trump administration Attorney General Bill Barr is more specific, saying that Patel "had virtually no experience that would qualify him to serve at the highest level of the world's most preeminent law enforcement agency."

What may have caught Trump's eye in his search for someone to head the F.B.I., is Patel's published children's book, "The Plot Against the King," considered by some to be a work of historical fiction.

Now, it should be noticed that Trump did give Patel a job within the Department of National Intelligence in 2016, later giving him an even better job in the Pentagon.  Had Trump won in 2020, he was said to have Patel in mind to head the C.I.A.

Interviewed, Patel says his first order of business as F.B.I. head would be to close down the J.Edgar Hoover Building in Washington, D.C., reopening it the next day as a "museum to the deep state."  Next, Patel, would send out the F.B.I.'s 7,000 employees "to be cops" and arrest members of the deep state, especially journalists who've "lied about America."(Nothing in this report should be construed as implying that Patel is batshit crazy.)

  1. Why should Patel be any better than the rest of Trump's nominees? Trump wants these government agencies torn down, wrecked and broken up. That's why he selects people he knows will follow his wishes, not actually run the department.

  2. Trump has made it obvious he wants to destroy the Democratic institutions of government and set up a dictatorship.

  3. Deep down , voters want this to happen. That is the reason they voted for Trump. The rest of us, we just look and take pictures for history.
