While Donald Trump has frequently claimed that he surrounds himself with "only the best people," his campaign seems populated with veritable nutjobs.
Trump's latest "flavor of the month," Laura Loomer, a conspiracy theorist banned from Facebook, someone who outed Senator Lindsey Graham as "gay," accompanied Trump on his campaign plane to a hastily-arranged photo op at Arlington National Cemetery on 9/11, despite being a 9/11 denier, and has since been photographed in cuddly poses with the former President that suggest to many an affair.
Now, as quickly as Loomer came on the MAGA scene, she seems to have vanished or "banished," as one news report indicated, allegedly given the heave-ho by Trump's handlers who viewed her as a threat to the campaign.
Not yet unendorsed by Trump is Republican candidate for governor and current Lieutenant Governor in North Carolina, the burly Mark Robinson, who, according to CNN, frequented a website called "Nude Africa," using the pen "Black Nazi," a user who claimed to enjoy "peeping" on women.
Trump has described Robinson as "better than Martin Luther King" and as "Martin Luther King" on steroids, but those descriptions may not be repeated as Trump did not mention Robinson or interact with him in his latest visit to North Carolina and the Republican Party has reportedly stopped funding Robinson's campaign.
It was just last month that independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. suspended his campaign and endorsed Donald Trump, but the relationship has gotten a bit chilly since the Trump-Harris debate and RFK, Jr.'s admission that "Harris won the debate."
Rule Number #1 to staying in Trump's inner circle is that you must continue to say only "nice things" about Donald Trump.
