Congratulations. Your grandson is well prepared to conquer high school tanks to your work. You home schooled him, you taught him some skills and you put common sense on him. Also, he knows how to do research, presentations and videos. You are a great grandfather. Still, talk to him about bullies, peer pressure and his academic goals. Do not let your guard down, but do it in a way that your son and your grandson do not notice what you are doing.
ReplyDeleteThe homeschooling was for a brief time while his father was a single parent. Since those days, he's been in more capable hands.

ReplyDeleteI raised four sons and one daughter. Now they are all grown and have flown away. I suffer from empty nest syndrome just like I suffer from Trump derangement syndrome. Fortunately, they have matured into responsible adults. Of course, we can't say that about Trump. Nevertheless, I sure miss those four little boys and that little girl. They say time cures pain. I say time causes more pain than it cures. But like the Rio Grande meandering to the Gulf, life embarks on its own course and there's no going back. I'm glad this young fellow has brought you so much joy. Un abrazo.
