 From the editor:  As many expected, Donald Trump has backed out of the scheduled debate set for September 10 on ABC News.  

While some Fox affiliates are reporting that Trump has "agreed" to a September 4 "debate" on Fox, that's simply bad journalism as there's been no "agreement." 

Trump has simply proposed the alternate site on the MAGA-friendly propaganda outlet, Rupert Murdoch's Fox News, an entity that's already paid a $787.5M settlement for lies during the 2020 election.

Trump's original boast of "any time, any place" has morphed into a venue he controls with MAGA-friendly "moderators" and a campaign rally audience to cheer him on.
