Much like Senators Mitch McConnell, Lindsey Graham and Ted Cruz, Ohio Senator J.D. Vance knows deep down that Donald Trump was an incompetent President and has repeatedly said just that.

When VP Mike Pence refused to certify fake electors in the 2020 election, Trump called him a "pussy," but J.D. Vance said at the time that he "would not have certified" the fake electors either.

Vance has described himself as a "never Trumper" who "never liked him," describing the former president as a "terrible candidate," "cynical asshole," "America's Hitler," offering uneducated whites "cultural heroin."

How incredible that a man who's voiced all those negatives about Trump has now agreed to be his running mate, his V.P. candidate.

There's something about the opportunity to grab the reins of power that pushes a person's morals aside, allowing him or her to reject every conscientious stance they've ever taken to become a sycophant for a con artist.
