YES, I KNOW, YOU'RE "WEARY TO THE BONE," BUT PROSECUTOR JACK SMITH MAY BRING YET ANOTHER INDICTMENT

Perhaps you're beyond weary of more reports of Donald J. Trump's criminality.

That fatigue causes you to avoid the nightly news to the extent that you don't even know about the blazing wildfires on Maui or the murders of civilians by the Nigerian army in Bula Ali.

Or, perhaps your mental diet includes the "information" emanating from Newsmax, QAnon or Fox News and you share the warped world view of former Mayor Pat Ahumada, who recently shared an extended rant so twisted and fact-challenged we finally admit, sadly, that he's a total nutjob, mentally messed up beyond recovery.

Regrettably, our country has been broken in two with "put him in jail already!" on one side and "stop persecuting my President" on the other and Brownsvillians have friends in both camps.

So, now we learn that Special Prosecutor Jack Smith is persuing YET ANOTHER possible crime by the former guy; using the time from his defeat in November 2020 to January 6, 2021 to raise millions of dollars for his "campaign."

Using fraudulent claims, lies, to raise funds, is a crime, a federal one.

The Save America PAC filled its coffers during that period and so, in addition to the documents case, the election interference case in DC, the Georgia thing, there may possibly be a new indictment in the offing.

I know, but Jack Smith was commissioned to do a job and he's doing it.

Hell, we may never grasp the total reach of Trump's criminality and I'm not sure we have the appetite or energy for it.

America has Trump fatigue.

Partisans on both sides simply don't want to hear it anymore.
