WILL TRUMP BEING BROUGHT UP ON RICO CHARGES EVEN FAZE BROWNSVILLE'S MAGA FAITHFUL?

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis

While their names come readily to mind, we're not going to embarrass them here; Brownsville's faithful Trumpers.

That group does not include former County Judge and Secretary of State Carlos Cascos or County Republican Chair Morgan Cisneros Graham.

Graham told me back in 2015 that she was not a fan of Trump and Cascos has recently made the same view very clear.

One local Republican operative, who once ran for office promising to "exterminate Democrats," still owes me $100 for a bet we made on the 2020 election.  I suspect though, that his election-denying mindset blocks and dulls any possible twinge of concience as he may actually think I owe him because the election was "rigged."

But, now with the speculation that Georgia's Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis will bring RICO charges against Trump, Brownsville's Trump cultists may get increased impetus to reassess their unquestioned support.

RICO felon?  That would put Trump in con artist Carlos Quintanilla territory, the man who tried to bilk Brownsville with a fake airline.

But, why should a fourth indictment do more influencing than the previous three?

I suspect Brownsville's Trump supporters will take that support to their graves.

There is one key difference in this new indictment:  These will be state charges over which a president has no pardoning authority.

  1. Yeah, I made the same bet with him. Except I knew he was not a man of honor. No surprise. Wonder what rock he hid under ?

  2. it's sad seeing grown "adults" not being able to fully comprehend a presidential loss, lost in the midst of a conspiracy theory, and so far gone from the reality of life. Not sure if it's their pride, stupidity, or both!

  3. Georgia will be his second state charge. The first had no impact on his mind-numbing supporters. The question no one wants to ask is how is Biden tied with Trump in a one on one if the election were held today? What does that say about national support for Biden?
