"You're a nasty, dirty man, Rep. Shiff, Oink, oink" |
It's like pigs in slop calling out the farmer for not taking a shower, but, yes, the U.S. House of Representatives actually censured Representative Adam Schiff because of his role in the first impeachment of disgraced ex-President Donald J. Trump.
Republican intentions were actually more heinous as they'd attempted to add a $16,000,000 fine along with the censuring.
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene |
These are dark, MAGA-influenced days for our democracy, with many in the G.O.P. lacking any moral fiber and several like Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene dumb as a rock.
As someone who watched the Watergate episode in its entirety, I remember honorable Republican senators like Howard Baker, Edward Guerney and Lowell Weicker who did not allow blind partisanship to prevent them from standing up for our country.
The Republicans in their report repeated the false claim that the Mueller Report did not establish any direct collusion between Trump and Russia.
That, of course, was a lie, but one that was initiated by Trump-appointed Attorney General Bill Barr, who tried to whitewash the Mueller Report.
