It seem Lt. Governor Dan Patrick can't open his mouth without putting his foot deep inside.
Now, the goofy one is blaming Democrats for low vaccination rates among African-Americans, who he says are mostly Democratic voters.
For the loose-lipped Patrick, it's like "you tell your people" and "we'll tell ours," not recognizing he's supposed to be governing all Texans, not just white people who voted for him in large numbers.
“It’s up to the Democrats, just as it’s up to the Republicans, to try to get as many people vaccinated, but we respect the fact that if people don’t want the vaccination, we’re not gonna force it on them,” Patrick said.
“That’s their individual right. But in terms of criticizing the Republicans for this, we’re encouraging people to take it, but they’re doing nothing for the African American community that has a significant high number of unvaccinated people, so they need to address that.”
So, Patrick feels it's the responsibility of Democrats to encourage Blacks to get vaccinated.
How warped and racist that thinking!
