WHINE WITH CHEEZ TO FEATURE TALENTED ARTISTS, ACTORS, DIRECTORS SUNDAY

Erasmo may have to find a bigger table to accommodate his Whine with Cheez podcast guests this Sunday.

Two talented actor/directors, along with the Executive Director of ROCA, Revival of Cultural Arts have confirmed their appearance on the show, live streamed from Angelita's Casa de Café, 2200 Boca Chica Blvd., Sunday at 1:30 PM.

Yet another actor, Dominic Hernandez, is flying in from Los Angeles on Sunday and will attempt to make the podcast.

Hilda Ledezma, a UTB graduate, opened the Carlotta K. Petrina Cultural Center in 2010, then, the next year established Revival of Cultural Arts, to introduce local families to the arts and fight for social justice.

Rene Rhi

Rene Rhi grew up in Matamoros and Brownsville, received a Masters in Fine Arts in Film from the University of Southern California, bachelors in journalism and Spanish from the University of Texas, graduating from the Lee Strasberg Film Institute and receiving a masters in Comunicazione from Strategica from the Università degli Studi di Firenze.  Rhi is fluent in English, Spanish and Italian.

Albert Medina

Albert Medina, a graduate of Pace High School in Brownsville and the University of Texas Film School and one of the directors for the screening Saturday at the BMFA, will also appear Sunday on Whine with Cheez.

Dominic Hernandez

Finally, Actor Dominic Hernandez, a Brownsville native, if he can make it back from LA in time, will round out the podcast.

These artists will give the podcast a change of pace.  Afterall, boys and girls, there's more to life than politics.
