I almost forgot! In one of the dumber city commission moves recently, the commission voted to change the name of East Fronton Street, from Palm to Sam Perl Boulevard, to McNair Family Drive.
As someone who values the historic nature of downtown Brownsville, the names Jefferson, Adams, Washington, Elizabeth, Levee, Saint Charles, Saint Francis and Fronton border on sacred.
McNair Family Drive? Let that roll off your tongue once or twice. It simply doesn't fit alongside the other traditional street names downtown.
What's next? Changing East Saint Charles Street to Bill Hudson Development Way?

Mueller was only the first shoe to drop. Still to be examined is why Trump is deferential to Putin and antagonistic to NATO. (Why, if you aren't bought, you act like you are.) Putin's oligarch friends would know if the Trump Organization laundered money for them illegally, The Mueller report is not the last word because it skipped step one -- does Trump have a motive?

DeleteTrump deserves to be spoken of with disdain. To hear Sarah Sanders explain in an interview that it is crazy for Nancy Pelosi to expect to work with Trump after accusing him of committing a crime (“cover up”) is astonishing. Trump has made scurrilous comments about everyone he deals with.
