Political Guru Rodrigo Moreno
15% of the registered voters have spoken, and, with 16,239 of Brownville's 107,589 registered voters participating, the clear winner in the municipal elections is political guru Rodrigo Moreno with $138,347.67 tallied so far in political consulting fees for just three candidates.
All three of Moreno's patrons, Nurith Galonsky, John Cowen and Trey Mendez, are staring in the face of a runoff election and will likely need more consultation with Mr. Moreno. Cha-ching!!!!!
Rodrigo's best customer so far, based on Campaign Finance Reports, is City Commissioner At Large "A" Candidate John Cowen, who has sent Pink Ape Media, Mr. Moreno's consulting firm, $61,871.88.
Moreno's good luck continued as Cowen narrowly missed winning outright, garnering 49.46% of the vote, just short of the needed 50% to win on the first go-around.(Cowen will face Jessica Puente Bradshaw, who finished second with 27.26% of the vote.)
Nurith Galonsky, leading the way in the City Commissioner District 1 race with 35.48% and facing incumbent Ricardo Longoria, Jr. in the runoff, has added another $41,573.65 to Pink Ape's coffers.
Finally, the mayoral leader in the clubhouse, Trey Mendez, outperforming Charlie Cabler 40.77% to 31.98%, has contributed another $34,902.14 to Pink Ape Media.
So, with a runoff elections still ahead in three races, and the leader in each race being a Pink Ape Media customer, Rodrigo Moreno DBA Pink Ape Media, has a total haul so far of $138,347.67.
We therefore declare Rodrigo Moreno the undisputed winner of the Brownsville City Election!

Trey and Cowen got there in spite of Rodrigo. Don’t they know that. Save your money boys. You don’t need him.
ReplyDeleteClearly browntown voters are easy to impress.
ReplyDeleteThat guy is creepy.
ReplyDeleteI think the headline and opening sentence mean financially - which is factually true. Pink Ape is a service. They helped each candidate differently. I suspect Trey did all of his own strategic work, whereas Cowan probably relied on Rodrigo more. Nurith surprised me with her willingness to walk until she dropped in her door to door campaign. And good for Pink Ape in being a successful local business.
ReplyDeleteIs very clear that the people of brownsville sold her vote in exchange for a chicken plate
ReplyDeleteHow proud can you be of winning an election just because you you bought your vote in exchange for food. That very low standards
funniest and true comment how brownsville people would vote, LMAO..
DeleteWe still feel Guerrero should of taken this election. But like always the cowens find a way with their mail in votes did the same thing with Mr. Guerra for the port of Brownsville
ReplyDeleteI guess we will need to wait and find out that brownsville voted for the wrong person.
I really like it wาปenever pะตople get together and shะฐre opัnions.
ReplyDeleteGreat site, keep it up!
