TREY MENDEZ ADDS ONE MORE MEET & GREET AT "THE VENUE EVENT CENTER"

From the editor:  Stopping for a few minutes at the Trey Mendez meet & greet at "The Venue Event Center," 2474 Boca Chica Blvd., I asked Trey about the forum at the Brownsville Library the same evening.

"Yes, I was aware of that forum," responded Mendez, "but this group had arranged for this meet & greet and so, it became either this or that."

"I didn't advertise this event because I wasn't sure how many would show up if we did.  Yesterday, we had over 100 at the "Broken Sprocket" after just mentioning it the day before."

TSC Trustee Adela Garza introduced Mendez to the crowd, describing him as a person who "makes time for everyone," adding:  "Trey doesn't NEED to be mayor.  He really doesn't, but he WANTS to be mayor to move this city forward."

  1. Maybe this is how trey intends to run the city

Impromptu meetings where no one finds out. That sucks.

    1. My article may not have been totally clear. Trey, like every politician wants as many as possible attending his events. In the case of this one particular event, someone else was sponsoring, so Trey was concerned about exceeding that sponsor's budget for the event and thus did not heavily promote it personally.

  2. Honestly speaking, Brownsville Forums are so Biased, depending of who organize each forum, people already know that group agenda, so candidates just say what that group wants to hear, Worthless waist of time, nothing good comes out from there

  4. Oh my gosh. A federal Judge just told the American people that Attorney General Barr’s credibility and reputation have been thrown in the toilet. It does not get more definite than this.
