ReplyDeleteHats off for your courage in posting this. If he comes after you I will prepare all of your pleadings for free and teach you how to efile them for free. The Supreme Court has made clear you and I are free to engage in freedom of association on legal matters so long as I do not charge.
ReplyDeleteThere are nearly 11 million undocumented immigrants living in the United States. About 8 million of them, the overwhelming majority, have jobs. They are vital to industries such as agriculture, hospitality and construction.
ReplyDeleteCompanies in several sectors have been calling for years for Congress to pass immigration reform legislation that would offer some form of legalization to longtime undocumented residents.
It's great to say that everyone should come here legally, but if you've made the process impossible then of course people fleeing terror, famine and war will come in illegally rather than go back. Fix the system. Let productive, happy neighbors stay and become a complete part of their communities. We were built by immigrants and every period we became insular was a period when it bit us in the butt.
