ReplyDeleteI think it's important that you and other bloggers acknowledge your hypocrisy in supporting Trey and shaming Charlie. For all we know, it was Trey's actions that will end up costing taxpayers $13.1 MILLION. Sure, Charlie should have exercised better judgment but I can't take you, your blog, or any other bloggers seriously when you show support for Trey when you overlook an obvious flaw to Trey's candidacy.
It's odd that you're comparing willfully allowing city funds to be stolen as Cabler did to losing the first round of a court case. Cabler ineptly and dishonestly exposed the city to tremendous liability by allowing an unlicensed firm to receive emergency ambulance calls.
DeleteI followed the Tercero case closely and easily saw non-performance on her part. Had I been in Trey's position, I would have voted to terminate.
Don't be confused by money. These two matters are VERY different.
Lily was terminated because Adela couldn't stand that she didn't kiss her feet. Trey, who's always been a spineless rat, voted with Adela. He always votes with Adela when she orders him to do so. This time TSC lost big and he is abandoning ship rather than cleaning up his mess.

ReplyDeleteFacts, audit found Charlie Cabler failed in his fiDciary duties when it came to Carlos Elizondo. Mike Hernandez and his cabal of conartits need Charlie Cabler as their mayor. The uncontroverted evidence concerning Lily Tercero is, she used the signature stamps of two former trustees. She failed for nearly three years to tell the trustees about the warnings on the associate nursing problems. Neither of these facts were controverted at the trial. So according to Mike Hernandez and Charlie Cabler how dare the board meet their fiduciary duty and discharge Lily Tercero. This facts in simple terms will be used against Charlie Cabler and the fact he ran cover for indicted Carlos Elizondo. The jury in the Tercero case fell for the distriction of some bad conduct by some board members behind the scene while failing to address the issue of just cause. the trial court will through out the verdict and if it does not, the court of appeals will. The question was just cause, not if they jury liked how it was handled.
Go for it Charlie and there will be full page ads how you ran cover for indicted Carlos Elizondo, and how Trey and the two above uncontroverted facts met his fiduciary duty. When you are aligned with Mike Hernandez and Carlos Marin no one fears you.
And for the record I did discuss this potential problem for Trey maybe a week or so ago. The BV does not hide the elephants in the room.
