WHEN BLOGS GET UGLY, PERSONAL AND ANTI-FAMILY

Some feel Brownsville's bloggers perform a public service calling out politicians for dishonesty, racism and shameless waste of taxpayer dollars.

When Mayor Tony Martinez orchestrated the wasting of $3.5 million tax dollars on 14 vacated downtown buildings in a juvenile effort to placate Juliet Garcia and the University of Texas system, the bloggers were rightfully all over it.

Ernie Hernandez and Carlos Elizondo got similar, unfavorable coverage for their notorious, illegal shenanigans.

How do you feel when bloggers get ugly, personal, injecting their commentary into family business?

Note below a recent story by blogger Bobby Wightman-Cervantes, a self-proclaimed legal expert, published on his blog, the BROWNSVILLE VOICE,  about City Commissioner Jessica Tetreau-Kalifa.  Do you view his assertions as critique of city policy or personal attacks?

AFTER HAVING AN AFFAIR WITH A MARRIED MAN AND GETTING PREGNANT, I NOW HAVE BACK STABBED THE GOD MOTHER OF MY CHILD - LOYALTY IS A FOOLS GAME

The first part has been very well documented by the BV.  Second, the Betancourts defamed and trashed Sylvia Garza-Perez, the god-mother of Jessica Tetreau-Kalifa child.  Then without thinking twice upon Mike Hernandez and Carlos Marin's command Jessica betrayed the god-mother of her son, Sylvia Garza-Perez by engaging in illegal conduct with David Betancourt.

I cannot wait for the day Art wakes up and realizes the truth - karma will be in his face with sympathy coming from no one.

  2. Is it true or not? What do you want facts or lies? If it's true then live with it. If it's a lie then respond.

    1. Wightman is clueless. No one in Brownsville takes him seriously, but, still, this is classic liable.

  4. An intriguing discussion is definitely worth comment.
I believe that you need to publish more about this topic,
it may not be a taboo matter but typically folks don't discuss these
subjects. To the next! Kind regards!!

  5. This posting is another example of his misogyny. Jessica is the Lolita that lures the man from his happy home and he is powerless to resist. Forget that he is older and more experienced, the blame is hers alone. This is a man who has characterized women as pigs and dogs(bitches). He has posted that he comes from a broken family. I wonder if his father left for his own Lolita? In my opinion, this posting says a lot more about him than it does about her.

  6. Not to condone any of what Wightman wrote concerning personal statements made against Commissioner Tetreau, but let's be honest here. MANY of our past and present "reputable" male political figures have had multiple marriages, known extramarital affairs and worse. Who's writing their personal stories? No one.

  7. Why people still make use of to read news papers when in this technological world everything is existing on web?

  8. Jim, I would love to hear your views on the San Antonio teenager who was attacked by a Mexican inside Whataburger just for wearing a Trump hat. The thought process of an old, deranged liberal such as yourself entertains me. Are there any real men supporting your cause Jim? Seems to me they are all gay, feminists skinny little fags who do their fighting with a keyboard.

  9. Wow, you are criticizing a man who still has the prestigious job with Ch. 5 even after retirement. He doesn't have to depend on "mordidas" from people who pay off so as not to have their name in your blog. Since you are so good at spelling, grammar and pronunciation of words, why are you still not working at the Herald and try printing all the lies and crap that you print on this blog. Remember that when we respond to your articles some of us are in such rage for the lies you tell and may types faster than the computer can print it out. Good for you that does not make any mistakes, but rest assure that I will, for one, comment from now on, on every mistake you make on your blog. I can't do anything about the lies except express my rage.
Oh, and fix your identity check to see who the robot is - only a robot would not write to your blog.

  11. I submitted the following post to Wightman's blog. He will never publish it. "I went back and re-read Barton's post thinking I missed the part where he supported Jessica. All he did was post your remarks and wonder about the nature of local blog posts. Nowhere did he dispute the truth of your remarks or defend her behavior in any way. He just offered up some intellectual musings and seemed to open up the floor for civil discussion, something you claim to champion. Your attack on him makes you look like a dick. I'm %100 sure you will never offer an explanation for your attack on Barton and it is clear he somehow is a threat to you. Montoya blogs for cash, you blog for influence and Barton seems to blog because shit interests him. Of the three of you, he has more credibility. Sure, he may get a fact wrong here and there or offer an interpretation of events that seems off but your rabid, frothy mouthed diatribes are often, at best, mean spirited and often demented."

  12. https://docs.justia.com/cases/federal/district-courts/district-of-columbia/dcdce/1:2010cv00238/140790/12

Plaintiff Robert Wightman-Cervantes brings this action against Robert Mueller, in his official capacity as Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation ("FBI"), and Eric Holder, in his official capacity as Attorney General of the United States (collectively, "defendants"). He requests that the Court order defendants to recuse themselves from a criminal investigation that he seeks to open. Wightman-Cervantes also asks the Court to appoint a special prosecutor to pursue that investigation. Defendants move to dismiss the complaint pursuant to Federal Rules of Civil Procedure 12(b)(1) and 12(b)(6), arguing that the Court lacks subject matter jurisdiction and that Wightman-Cervantes has failed to state a claim upon which relief can be granted. For the reasons discussed below, defendants' motion to dismiss will be granted.

Wightman-Cervantes begins with accusations that Chief Justice Wallace Jefferson of the Texas Supreme Court "orchestrated an usurping of power" from Texas Governor Rick Perry "with Governor Perry's full consent for the sole purpose of obstructing justice." Compl. ¶ 3. Wightman-Cervantes also alleges, among other things, that FBI Director Mueller and former

    Case 1:10-cv-00238-JDB Document 12 Filed 11/12/10 Page 2 of 9
Attorney General Albert Gonzales used the FBI to entrap him on credit card fraud charges in order to silence his criticism of appointments made by former President George W. Bush. Compl. ¶ 5, 17. He claims that the FBI was responsible for a Chase credit card application addressed to him and to a person targeted in a previous lawsuit he filed; he believes that the application is evidence of the FBI's scheme to entrap him on credit card fraud. Compl. ¶¶ 17-21. Wightman-Cervantes also contends that Mueller can no longer conduct a criminal investigation of Governor Perry and Chief Justice Jefferson because he would implicate himself and his office, Compl. ¶ 5, and that Attorney General Holder is now involved in the coverup because "President Obama seeks to appoint to federal offices Democrats who have made themselves party to the criminal conduct initiated under the Republicans." Compl. ¶ 26. He further argues that the Court's failure to compel the FBI to investigate and indict Governor Perry and every member of the Texas Supreme Court will make other judges "party to the criminal conspiracy started by Governor Perry and the Texas Supreme [Court] and covered up by FBI Director Mueller." Compl. ¶ 39. According to Wightman-Cervantes, the FBI reviewed his claims of public corruption and attempted credit card fraud at his request but declined to investigate further, citing a lack of evidence. Compl. ¶ 17. Wightman-Cervantes appears to seek declaratory, injunctive, and mandamus relief ordering defendants' recusal from a criminal investigation of Governor Perry and Chief Justice Jefferson and the appointment of an "independent investigator" to pursue the investigation. Compl. ¶ 40.
On June 7, 2010, defendants moved to dismiss the case, arguing under Rule 12(b)(1) that the Court lacks subject matter jurisdiction over Wightman-Cervantes's complaint and under Rule 12(b)(6) that he has failed to state a claim upon which relief can be granted.

  13. We absolutely love your blog and find many of your post's to be precisely what I'm looking for.
Do you offer guest writers to write content in your case?
I wouldn't mind composing a post or elaborating
on most of the subjects you write related to here.

    Again, awesome blog!
