Cheap Hyperbole by Jim Barton. Get real, Jim. It's jobs and jobs are what we need. i'd accept a job at a stinking meatpacking plant de-boning cows if the pay was good. Why don't you tell us where you got that photo - Nagasaki? LOL
ReplyDeleteWhat about a job in which you're the meat to be packed? You think Barton's bad? Check out my posts on saveRGVfromLNG (https://www.facebook.com/saveRGVfromLNG/). Rio Grande, Annova, & Rio Grande LNG all say LNG can't explode or burn or interact with soil or water. The say, if released, it just dissipates into the air, leaving no residue. Hell, it's near pure methane, a greenhouse gas 86 times stronger than CO2 over a 20 year period -- just about right for cooking our gooses. It has to cool down to turn back into a gas. Then mix in some oxygen before lighting your cigarette and boy howdy it will burn. It's pretty worthless except for burning in ways that generate heat or energy. Just for fun, I'm renaming the three LNG companies Snap, Crackle, and Pop.
