Leon Russell's Passing. . . . . . .
From the editor: Back in 1972, Nena and I went to the movies in Danville, Arkansas to view the movie "Concert for Bangladesh," featuring George Harrison, Bob Dylan, Leon Russell and Ravi Shankar. Nena was 8 months pregnant. Our son, AKA Diego Lee Rot, kicked like crazy during the concert movie.
Leon Russell, who passed yesterday, sings one of his hits, preserved on YouTube and published below:
