Real Texas beef brisket exists in Brownsville at Buddy's BBQ & Grill on Hwy 48 where Minnesota Road crosses. For $6.99 we tried a beef brisket sandwich with a homemade bun gently fried on the grill, crisp pickles, curly fries, a drink and the best brisket anywhere near Brownsville.

ReplyDelete305 miles to Kruez Market or Blacks BBQ is a nice place to stop by if you are in the area, but not someplace you can just stop on the way home from work. Buddy's place is close and the fare is good.
