El Carpintero Fundraiser for Cancer Victim Edwin Martinez~6/10/12 at 7:00 PM

FLLM/NWA Wrestling has announced a special fundraiser for Edwin Martinez, a young Brownsville man who is fighting cancer.  The event will be held at:





Brownsville Parks & Recreation Center


1338 8th Street at 7:00 PM


Please join El Carpintero and his friends to raise money to help Edwin in his battle against cancer.  




Edwin is 24.  He is pictured here with his girlfriend, Cynthia Karina.  Edwin works as a custodian at Veteran's Memorial High School.  He was recently hospitalized in Houston for treatment of cancer.  He and his girlfriend have vowed to "beat this thing."


Wrestler El Carpintero wants to help Edwin to pay for some of his treatment with the fundraiser mentioned above.

    El Carpintero, huh? Who knows about this masked man, but there once was a benevolent carpenter walking Earth. That was a bit ago, and we all know what happened to him. On the other hand, this Carpintero dude may not have the, uh, "powers" that other one eventually dropped on the world populace. Still, it is a Masked Vato and, uh, Lord knows that, too, is quintessential Brownsville. If ever there was a place on this planet for a community wishing to hide its face, it is this one. What's with the military garb, though? Is this "wrestler" being dressed by one of our Ropa Usada outlets?
