𝗔 𝗧𝗥𝗨𝗘 𝗗𝗘𝗠𝗢𝗖𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗬 𝗗𝗢𝗘𝗦 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗠𝗜𝗧 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗔𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗭𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗢𝗙 𝗛𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗬 𝗧𝗢 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗧𝗘𝗖𝗧 𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗦, 𝗦𝗘𝗗𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗦 𝗢𝗥 𝗪𝗔𝗥 𝗖𝗥𝗜𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗟𝗦

January 6, 2021, much like December 7, 1941, is a "date that will live in infamy." Just as our country should never forget the day the Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service dropped bombs on Pearl Harbor, our school children in perpetuum should learn of the treason, cowardice and disrespect for our country that motivated a sitting president to incite an insurrection against our government.

The fact that the insurrection was incited, prompted and approved by President Trump in no way excuses the brainwashed minions who spread excrement on Capitol walls, set up hangman's gallows for the Vice President and carried Confederate battle flags into the congressional halls.  They are just as guilty as the Germans whho lit the gas chambers on orders from Hitler and Goebbels in 1930's Nazi Germany. 

In the Nuremberg Trials, the military tribunals prosecuting Nazi Germany's leaders, several used the "we were just following orders" defense.

The International Law Commission ruled that a person is responsible for "making a moral choice," even if given orders to commit atrocities.

While morally deficient governors like Texan Greg Abbott and Floridian Ron Desantis may try to whitewash the history books to pretend racism didn't exist in our country for 400 years, what happened January 6, 2021 was not an insurrection or that Adolf Hitler & Company did not commit atrocious war crimes,  at least my grandsons will know the truth about January 6th as will millions of other grandchildren.
