| Mayoral Candidate Trey Mendez
Trey Mendez has agreed to appear today on Whine with Cheez, the podcast live streamed each Sunday at 1:30 PM from Angelita's Casa de Cafe, 2200 Boca Chica Blvd.
Mendez will certainly be asked about the recent negative mailouts by incumbent Tony Martinez as well as how he hopes to enhance Brownsville's progress.
Pastor Brad Burke, a local organizer for the National Day of Prayer event scheduled in May, has also agreed to appear on the podcast.
Burke's appearance will be interesting as Erasmo Castro was the lone dissenting vote on the BISD Board on giving Burke's group a discount for use of BISD facilities.
