Trump's Ghostwriter Speaks Out on President's Psyche

Tony Schwartz
Few are as close to understanding the psyche of Donald Trump as Tony Schwartz, co-author, along with Trump, of the bestseller, "The Art of the Deal."

Schwartz told CNN's Anderson Cooper yesterday that he does not expect Trump to sit around, waiting to be impeached:

"I surely believe that at some point over the next period of time he’s going to have to figure out a way to resign and the reason he’s going to do that as opposed to go through what could be an impeachment process, or a continuing humiliation, is that he wants to figure out a way — as he’s done all his career — to turn a loss into a victory.

And so he will declare victory when he leaves."

Schwartz also explained that Trump's facility to criticize and even humiliate opponents is based on Trump's own personal feelings of inadequacy.

Trump is not attached to right or wrong, Schwartz hinted:

"He just wants to be loved."
