  1. That Longoria is something else. Perhaps someone should research his voting history when it comes to approving funding for certain nonprofits, special events and projects. Why you ask? Because he ends up getting the dj gigs. Sombrero fest would be a good start.

  3. It is not every day you see someone's profile is larger than someone's broadside. DAMN!

  7. Men write in the blogs how Valley women are fat, well, look at this picture, the only one not fat is the woman (how ironic). I had not seen Rick Longoria in a long time (always sitting down in comissioners meetings). I agree with all the other posts he DESPERATELY NEEDS a girdle (faja). He looks like the long lost son of Joe Rivera in this picture.

  8. Art Rodriguez must have no actual work to do as Health Director. He's ALWAYS gone to one seminar or another.

  10. Art Rodriguez needs a break from protecting too many departments in the city. Has anyone else noticed the severe safety hazard of café at the Brownsville Public Library on Central? Wires exposed, rodents, no sinks....

  11. Art Rodriguez is one of the few city dept. Heads that is doing a good job. He is definately a company man and does what he is told by the city comission. But is that not part of his job to keep his job? The health department is well run due to Art and he is well qualified to run it. One thing I like about the health dept is that they are on top of the horrible restaurants in this town. As far as going to seminars go, where do you think progressive ideas come from? Not locally.

    1. Thanks to Art his workers take the city vehicles to their homes, award themselves employee of the month, sometimes they don't show up to work but still get paid, Mary Deleon has her adopted niece there and her daughter at the library...
