  10. I met Larry Smith by chance here in town before I knew who he was. We shook hands. When I shake hands I look into your eyes as the hand shake and the eyes tell us much about a person if you pay attention. That man has a mean streak in him that runs to the core, in my opinion. Yes, he is a Vet with all due respect to his service to the country, but that does not override the fact that his current mission is to squash the voice of the people along with opportunities that would better our community at large.

He is just another rivet in the Republican machine to destroy the middle class and keep citizens from voting his ilk out of office in Austin. The Republican party is all about demonizing all Latino's or as they call them Mexicans for political propaganda. This photo ties right in to that mentality, because in their minds they don't recognize the difference between Hispanics, Mexico's citizen's or illegals/undocumented. In addition to that propaganda of fear and loathing they spread, the Texas Republicans have focused on demeaning and oppressing Texas women, because they know the majority of women have always voted Democratic when they do vote.

Perry only won his two terms as Governor of Texas, because Democrats stayed home instead of hitting the Polls. Perry won with only around 18% of his own party voting for him in the first term and only 9% this last term. That means Democrats sat on their assess allowing Perry to take over Austin without a peep. I don't believe Democrats will sit this one out.

Texans deserve better than what was elected into Austin's legislative body. Voting this guy into Congress will only help the current industries in Texas receive further Government subsidies while garnering record profits simultaneously. With more of the same elitist mentalities looking down on the valley instead of helping to make it attractive to businesses.

If anyone for Larry Smith thinks a business person seeing this picture would be induced to set up shop here in the valley, you are either delusional or just uneducated. By taking this picture Larry Smith is already hurting the valley.
