  4. Today's newspaper article regarding Cascos complaint against Rivera is a good indication of desperation. My advice is that losing an election is not the end of the world, but instead of focusing on a premature loss why not focus on the issues. What have you done to get re-elected is what voters want to know, not personal attacks against your opponent.

  5. Joe Rivera has gotten his campaign instructions from Gilberto Hinojosa......for Joe to keep his mouth shut and not embarrass himself by trying to answer questions. Joe is a "dumbass" and when he talks he proves that. Joe will not debate, because Gilberto knows he would prove his inabilty to communicate to the public. Joe will defer all questions and so we will never hear what he has to say on any topic. Joe is a nice guy, but a pawn for Hinojosa.....so sad.

What kind of youth minister could you be considering your hateful, vengeful, and blindly ambitious ways? WWJD, Roman?

  6. How is bringing to the forefront violations of election code statutes personal attacks? If in fact rivera failed to register a political action committee and is raising and expending monies, it is he that should be held accountable. If these actions are ok, there wouldnt be laws regulating political campaigns. Oh wait a minute. .i forgot who was commenting.

  8. Just because you file a complaint does not make it so. There are always two sides to every story, Joe Rivera has the right to respond and after he responds to the complaint the appropriate action will be taken, if any. Cascos has the right to file the complaint, but he is not king, nor does he rule or over see Secretary of State's office. Cascos should focus on the issues, porque son patadas de hogado. Like me, politically a big show was made of allegations over a check against me and was pushed by the Police Chief Carlos Garcia to get me indicted, in fact he even went on TV interviews professing my guilt, when I had not had my day in court. Clearly he was over stepping his bounds as Police Chief by becoming my prosecutor, judge, and jury, but it backfired. But, he still did a lot of damage to my reputation. Just like him Cascos makes accusations and now he is the one who determines guilt, when he should let the process determine guilt or innocence. Same thing happened to Gov Rick Perry, who by some has already been found guilty without giving him due process. Cascos just wants to get some mileage out of his own complaint out of desperation. It is obvious. .

    1. So you are refusing to read the complaint and the evidence, basically? It is public record. You obviously have internet access, Pat.

  9. LOL! Shrimper, yes! And, proud of it, but pendejo no.. You will never even come close to the person I am, besides you are a coward who hides behind Anonymous. If you were a person who could stand up for anything, you would use your name, but you prefer to attack and hide, just like Cascos who lurked behind the scenes to undermine the weir project. What a small ego he has and a small man he is.. His desperate attempt to discredit his opponent instead of focusing on the issues or what he has done the eight years in office, he attacks. Cascos has nothing to offer.

  10. Complaints and lawsuits are filed, but they are not proven by simply submitting the complaint. The process will decide guilt or innocence, not the filing of the complaint or lawsuit. If guilty he will be appropriately dealt with. Now focus on the issues, not being petty. When Congressman Ortiz filed a complaint against me it took two years to process and investigate the complaint, which was found without merit at the end. So, I know how this tool can be used to try and harm a candidate. Like I said, if true, file the complaint and allow those in charge to investigate, instead of being desperate and making allegations of criminal activity to help his fledging campaign in the polls.

  11. Anonymous &:06 AM, Read today's newspaper article that clearly shows how the process works. In said article many pushed and got a conviction against Cascos fellow Republican, Tom Delay and the State Appeals Court over turned the complaint and ruling. The court stated the allegations and conviction did not rise to the level of criminalization of a public servant and as was done with me and Cascos is tring to do to Joe Rivera, Cascos is attempting to criminalize his opponent for political gain. And, it will back fire. Eat those apples....And, you know I am right based on Cascos whining over free marriage licenses.. Wow! This is really something to focus on, instead of the issues or what he as county judge has done over the past 8 years, besides meddling and gossiping. The people will decide, but my vote goes to Joe...

    2. Nobody is whining, Pat. The public in inquiring, and people are digging deeper. Your guy has got some problems and can't figure out how to "fix" the documents, as you well known what I mean.

    3. The public isn't inquiring. ....it's just cris being stupid as per cascos. You are a fine one to bring up "fix".. didn't your theft case get fixed?

  12. If true, Chris, the process will take care of it. Now focus on what you all have done these past 8 years, besides whining, meddling, gossiping (arguenderos), hiring family and friends, and basically maintaining status quo. As proven by the ruling on Tom Delay's prosecution, the allegations and findings did not rise to criminalizing Tom Delay as you are trying to do to Joe Rivera out of desperation. Patadas de hogados.. You will be voted out November, then you can dwell in your hate and swallow all you both dished out.

  13. IS THAT WHAT YOU DID PAT..... Dwell in your hate....and swallow what you did to others?
