ReplyDeleteI don't know what Lucio and Oliveira were doing there other than for photo ops. I was there and they just stood there in front and said absolutely nothing, nada. These two just wanted to be seen with all these women as if they really cared.
Another subplot is the continued use of the Hinojosa-rented building as party headquarters. Does the Hernandez/Sylvia Garza-Perez/Carlos Masso faction feel comfortable there?

The best thing Hinojosa ever did for this community, was to outcast the Garza Perez and Hernandez cancer from the Democrat party. His prior sins aside, I have a newfound respect. No one else had the political strength to expel them for good from the CCD Party. So kudos, Mr & Mrs Hinojosa.

DeleteThe local Dumbokratic Party continues to be dysfunctional and corrupt. Gilberto Hinojosa has been a sexist all his life....and treats women like crap. Rene Oliviera is also an abuser or user of women and continues to be a sexist pig (he even left a date on the highway to take the fall for him in a drunk driving incident last year). Poor Eddie Lucio, Jr. is just an idiot who shows up for every photo op. Lucio is just stupid...and is a fine example of his constituency. Women in Cameron County can't depend on anyone in the Dumbokratic Party....but are so ignorant they will vote for these scumbags anyway. DeleteLucio Sr. really needs to pack it up and ride into the sunset so he can serve his woman-hating God. Obviously, time has left him behind in the 1980's. I think his son does fare much better due to his more modern,realistic and fair-minded platform. He's definitely more progressive. But hey, this chasm between parent and child happens a lot in politics. Hell, in a lot of situations. Go Wendy! You inspire us.
ReplyDeleteIt's easy to vote against women from the safety of his golf club and the company of paid prostitute "escort" types hanging around. I'd like to see him walk into Planned Parenthood and tell a pregnant rape victim that she must have the baby because it's the 'responsible' thing. Or a pregnant woman who doesn't have enough money to pay the electric and whose boyfriend beats her up.
