I'm certain she echoes her husband's pro gun, anti-immigration, anti-abortion stances, but here is a published bio:
DeleteCecilia Abbott has devoted her life to serving others. She was a teacher, vice-principal and then principal at several schools across Texas. Most recently she served as the principal of the Cathedral School of St. Mary in Austin from 1996 to 2001. Governor Perry appointed Cecilia to the State Board of Educator Certification, where she served from 2001 to 2008
Cecilia has also focused on health care for seniors. Since 2004, she has served as the managing director of community relations at Harden Healthcare, a network of senior adult health care facilities and services.
Cecilia is a product of the American Dream. The granddaughter of immigrants from Mexico, Cecilia was raised in San Antonio by parents who were both educators. They instilled in Cecilia, her sister and two brothers the power of education. Cecilia took the lesson to heart and went on to study two years at the University of Texas and then earned three degrees from the University of St. Thomas in Houston: a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a Master’s degree in Education and a Master’s degree in Theology.
Cecilia believes strongly in giving back to the community that has given her so much. She serves on the University of St. Thomas Board of Directors and the Huston-Tillotson Board of Directors, as well as the advisory boards for the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, the Holy Trinity Seminary, and the Austin Diocesan School. She is also a member of the Women’s Symphony League, the National Charity League, and the Dell Children’s Women’s Trust.
A prolific animal lover, Cecilia has nurtured numerous dogs into their late teens. She has raised a variety of pets, including a Nubian goat named Petunia.

Jim Barton, the following are questions I would like to know about candidate Cecilia Abbott:
Delete(1) Is she Republican, Democrat or Independent?
(2) Where does she stand on Immigration Reform?
(3) Does she support the Affordable care Act ("Obamacare")
(4) Where does she stand on Texas Voter I.D. Law? For or against?
(5) Bi-lingual education?
(6) Does she support workers rights and the rights of unions to organize in Texas?
(7) Does she support the raising of the minimum wage in Texas?
(8) Does she support the Dream Act for undocumented students in Texas?
(9) Where does she stand on a Texas Cesar Chavez state recognition day?
(10) If she stands with her husband on anti-gun control, anti-immigration rights, anti-abortion and EVERYTHING that concerns the Latino voters of Texas, then I say she is NOT the right candidate to represent LA RAZA VOTERS...., PERIOD!
Maybe state legislator, Ms. Wendy Davis should be running against this HI-spanic Ms.Cecilia Abbott's position. If I was a Texas voter, without a doubt, there is NO WAY I would cast my VOTE for Ms. Cecilia Abbott, even if she looks "brown" like me! Hey! Ted "The GUSANO" Cruz looks likes NOSOTROS and this RACE TRAITOR is a person non grata within ALL our Latino communities in Texas and throughout Aztlan (California to Texas) and beyond!

"Anonymous"..., ok..., I erred! Her husband is the one running instead, huh?! I just took notice of it! Ok then, Greg Abbott is the one running! That does not make any difference! He's definitely NOT in the best interest of my Texas RAZA voters! Knowing that he's a against anti-immigrant reform, that's enough to persuade ALL RAZA VOTERS NOT TO VOTE FOR GREG ABBOTT, therefore they should look elsewhere for another viable candidate who speaks for NOSOTROS!
