Filemon Vela to Host Bi-National Summit Along with United Brownsville at UTB

U.S. Congressman Filemon Vela, in partnership with the University of Texas at Brownsville, Texas Southmost College, Brownsville Economic Development Council, United Brownsville and Imagina Matamoros, will be hosting a Border Security and Economic Development Summit focusing on BiNational Border Economic Development.




The premise of BiNED is that we must promote bi-national border economic development as a necessary component to any effective border security and stabilization program; and that the most competitive pathway to economic development for the border is through innovation-led advanced manufacturing.
