DeletePolitics is all about money. He gets it from constituents who believe in him and his Party, or he gets it from lobbyists who want to buy his vote. Or he gets it from both. Bottom line is that campaign funding is a sign of political success and power. The down side is that when he leaves office he can keep the money in his campaign fund....which is an incentive to keep raising funds. Filemon is a freshman member of the House and
ReplyDeleteis trying to prove himself to his constituents and his Party......very little influence in legislation, but his actions are important to us. I won't send any money.....but I hope Filemon can survive among the sharks in DC.
Jim, as much as I like your blog, your audience seems to be unaware of how politics work, have no idea what they're talking about (unlike you!), and aren't educated. We need to educate our community.
