Better Block Brownsville Night~Dollar Drinks, Other Specials At Downtown Clubs, Friday, August 9 from 10 PM to 11 PM

Tequilas Restaurant & Cantina
Adams St. at E. 9th
Club and restaurant owners in Brownsville's downtown are offering very attractive drink prices to attract visitors downtown August 9, during and following the Better Brownsville Block activities around Market Square from 7 PM till 10 PM.

From 10 PM till 11 PM, the Lozano family's Tequilas Restaurant and Cantina will feature a mariachi band along with Virgin Pina-Coladas for $1.00, Domestic Bottles for $2.00, Margaritas and Well drinks for $2.00 and Turkey Hot Dogs for $1.50.

The Half Moon Cantina

During that same time frame George Ramirez and Ben Neece's Half Moon Cantina at 11th and E. Adams St. will feature live blues music, Domestic Drafts for $1.50, Fresh Fruit Margaritas for $2.00 and Quality Well Drinks for $3.00.





The Haven




Juan Kenigstein's The Haven Bar, located at 1237 E. Adams St., will have Noche Bohemia on Friday night with a Special Haven Shot for $1.00 and Non-alcoholic drinks for $1.00.




Club Deja Vu



The Club Deja Vu at 12th and Adams will feature karioki and $1.00 martinis for its participation in Better Block Brownsville night.

  2. These fire sale drink prices reek of desperation. Too bad you cannot short the downtown "interment" district. The façade of The Haven looks like an old Store More. A place that is a combination of Cantina and Restaurant is like a guy that is both a mortician and Herbal Life associate. As Yogi said, it's Deja Vu all over again.
