Limas Describes Money from Eddie Trevino, Jr. As a "Gift"

The testimony of Abel Limas details monies received from various Cameron County lawyers;  Ray Marchan, Oscar de la Fuente and Eddie Trevino.  Of course, Limas wants to characterise  the money received in his own way, protecting his friends and damning those not close to him.
Only one person is on trial here;  Ray Marchan.  The F.B.I. doesn't need a Limas filter to understand inappropriate monetary exchanges between lawyer and judge.  Limas does former Mayor Eddie Trevino, Jr. no favors by describing money received from Trevino as a "gift" or "money from another lawyer."  A clandestine exchange of cash from the inside suit pocket of a lawyer to the inside suit pocket of a judge always raises red flags.  Adults pay their light bill with their account number on the check, get a receipt for political donations and otherwise document their payments.  Pocket to pocket money from lawyer to judge is not a typical transaction between ethical adults, friends or otherwise.

It will be an intriguingly interesting long ride down through the letters of the alphabet the next few years.
