Well there's floodin' down in Texas
All of the telephone lines are down
Well there's floodin' down in Texas
All of the telephone lines are down
And I've been tryin' to call my baby
Lord and I can't get a single sound

Jim, I appreciate your blog, letโs look at the real problem here, when the County Judge Eddie Trevino, is more concerned with building a 500 million dollar arena, and allowing Space X to run all over us and ignore the drainage issue in Harlingen, priorities are all wrong, this is a travesty and mis management at the highest degree
ReplyDeletePeople forgot to ask the old timers about existing lagunas, ditches, low areas and the permits were given to build shops, streets, hospitals, parking lots etc. Then it rained and the water went to its original place. The humans and the shops do not belong here, where it floods.
ReplyDeleteJim Barton, when you have time, can you do a map of the main streets and roads here in Brownsville where it floods. I know Boca Chica floods, Security Drive, Four Corners, Southmost, but where else? I think that if people are aware they will not take their family car out and call in sick and not report to work to save their car. Also by Amigo Land Mall close to the bridge is another flooding area. Ruben Torres? International Blvd?
