Last night, during the State of the Union message, newly installed Speaker of the House Mike Johnson sat stoically on his hands while President Joe Biden gave the country a stark alternative to the hate and intolerance of Trump.

Some Republicans in the audience booed while others simply walked out.  It didn't matter as it seems that MAGA cultists are essentially unreachable and Biden admitted that last night.

While his first two State of the Union speeches were conciliatory, last night Biden simply spoke past the pro-insurrection, lying MAGA right and promised to fight for democracy without them, renouncing violence.

Biden promised to keep working for America, offering inclusivity and hope, the polar opposite of Trump's call for revenge, contempt and blame.

The choice in November could not be clearer.  We have to trust America's voters to use their thinking caps.
